Hannafin Contractors have recently invested in five new Hitachi ZX135USB-6’s, four new ZX225US-6’s and a ZX55U-6 to begin work on a number of new exciting contract awards

Two of these machines were prepared at the Hitachi Construction Machinery (UK) headquarters to incorporate the SITECH Trimble machine guidance system, which uses an angle sensor, dual axis sensor and laser catcher to measure the relationship between the body, boom, stick and bucket which in turn helps to guide the operator to the desired depth and slope and determines where the bucket teeth should be.

By adopting this innovative system, we are increasing safety, reducing material waste and improving the overall productivity.
